Trees for Cities offers training for individuals in either arboriculture or horticulture.

As well as training and qualifications, candidates are given the opportunity to gain practical experience on the variety of horticultural and arboricultural projects run by Trees for Cities. We have extensive experience in working with people who have been unemployed for some time.

Our training opportunities are supported by the government drive to improve the urban green workforce. Trees for Cities provides accreditation in green skills and also offers trainees support in seeking sustainable employment.

Funding comes through various sources, from employment agencies to smaller trust funds, and is aimed at helping London residents enjoy a more rewarding life.

To find out more, please email Emma Holland, Training Coordinator or call 020 7840 5957.

“I'm going to give the charity Trees for Cities £25 for every goal West Brom score between now and the end of the season. That won't buy a forest, but it might make a difference.”
