Supporting our urban greening projects by making a donation is a great way to leave a positive mark on our cities.

Trees help counter pollution, provide wildlife habitats and beautify those parts of a city that are most in need of greening.

£75 can help us turn a homeless, young person in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, into a qualified horticulturalist capable of earning a living tending our plots of fruiting trees – the fruits of which are sold to benefit the whole community.

For £250 we can plant a grove of fruit trees at an urban school so that the children can learn about the importance of the natural environment and where their food comes from.

What is Gift Aid?

As a UK taxpayer, you can make donations worth 28% more to Trees for Cities, at no cost to yourself, by ticking the box. By doing so, you agree that Trees for Cities can reclaim the tax on all donations you have made since April 6, 2000 and on all donations you make until further notice. You understand that you must pay an amount of income tax or capital gains tax equal to the tax reclaimed on your donations.
