Tree-Athlon 2011

The Tree-Athlon is our flagship fundraising event. In addition to the 5K run, there was a chance to plant a tree, take part in our 100m barefoot world record attempt, listen to live music and create a giant piece of street art.

Thank you to everyone who took part in our Tree-Athlon this year which took place on 17 September 2011 at Battersea Park. We were incredibly lucky with the weather.

Thank you particularly to all our Tree-Athletes who helped to make the day such a success and for the amazing sponsorship support that we have received so far.

If you haven’t already sent us your sponsorship, please send it to us now by:

  • telephoning Zoe to make a card payment over the phone by calling 020 7820 4413 (credit cards only)
  • sending us a cheque payable to Trees for Cities, addressing it to:

“Trees are a luxury for all of us and we need this luxury for our health, mind and soul. Places become sad when there is no green, no life present. Trees balance our lives. I am happy to support Trees for Cities with all my heart.”
