Thames Water Street Trees

Thames Water Street Trees

In partnership with Thames Water, Trees for Cities will be planting ten new street trees across four London boroughs; Hackney, Newham, Southwark and Lambeth. The project will be bring new life to these urban locations, providing seasonal interest, improved air quality, shade and natural habitats to the residents that live there.

This project is supported by Thames Water.

This project is part of RE:LEAF, a programme to ensure there is always one tree for every London resident - keeping pace with London's growing population.  For further information see http://www.london.gov.uk/releaf-london

“Trees are a luxury for all of us and we need this luxury for our health, mind and soul. Places become sad when there is no green, no life present. Trees balance our lives. I am happy to support Trees for Cities with all my heart.”
