Crowcroft Park

Our 2009 plantings kicked off with a scheme to add new tree cover at Crowcroft Park in Gorton. Local school children and residents joined us to plant a new urban woodland plot, 100m of wildlife hedge, 16 large specimen trees and a new community orchard.

This planting scheme will continue the quite excellent regeneration that local people have helped bring about at Crowcroft Park in recent years.

Trees for Cities relies on donations from individuals in order to deliver projects like the Crowcroft Park Project. Please consider supporting our project work by making a donation or buying a community gift.

“Trees are a luxury for all of us and we need this luxury for our health, mind and soul. Places become sad when there is no green, no life present. Trees balance our lives. I am happy to support Trees for Cities with all my heart.”
