Clayfield House

Clayfields House is a secure unit for children aged 10-16 who have committed a criminal offence, and who are also at risk and have high support needs.  Trees for Cities is developing an orchard and food-growing initiative on the centre’s grounds, and transforming a grey courtyard into a natural therapeutic space.

This project will help children live healthier lifestyles and gain food-growing skills, as well as creating positive therapeutic experiences – helping them move forward into a future free from crime and anti-social behaviour in the community

Trees for Cities relies on donations from individuals in order to deliver our Nottingham projects. Please consider supporting our project work by making a donation or buying a community gift.

“Trees are a luxury for all of us and we need this luxury for our health, mind and soul. Places become sad when there is no green, no life present. Trees balance our lives. I am happy to support Trees for Cities with all my heart.”
