Reading
Trees for Cities is entering its fourth year of working in Reading - one of England's largest towns. We are delighted to be working with Reading Borough Council and local people to help ensure places for trees within the town - creating vital habitat for Reading's wildlife and beautifying urban areas for those who live there.
We have planted over 2,800 trees across Reading in schools and public spaces, and look forward to increasing this number with future projects.
Melvin Benn, Managing Director, Festival Republic and Patron of Trees for Cities, says: “I am very pleased and proud to be involved with Trees for Cities and the valuable work they do. Particularly in Reading, where myself and the Festival Republic team have developed such a great affection for the city.”
