In February 2011 we planted a new avenue of London Plane trees at Richfield Avenue – providing canopy cover and stately trees alongside a well-used cycle route.

As part of the project we provided training to volunteers who signed up at the launch of the new Reading Tree Warden scheme. By training Tree Wardens we helped tree planting in Reading to grow exponentially as wardens go back to work in the local community.
