Manchester Estate, Isle of Dogs: Natural Play
In our third project phase at Manchester Estate we will be creating a new natural play area to enhance the existing play facilities and continue to develop the estate as a great place for people and wildlife.
Natural play gets children active and outdoors, using and enhancing natural features in the environment to take part in adventurous and imaginative play. Trees, plants, grassy mounds, fallen logs and boulders all provide an interactive and enticing landscape to explore.
This project is funded by EastendHomes, Healthy Borough Programme, the London Tree and Woodland Grant Scheme, Bloomberg, the Isle of Dogs Community Foundation, the City Bridge Trust and Esmee Fairbairn.
Trees for Cities relies on donations from individuals in order to deliver projects like the Manchester Estate Project. Please consider supporting our project work by making a donation or buying a community gift.
