Ridgeway Cycle Route

Ridgeway Cycle Route
In December 2009 Trees for Cities supported local project partner TreeBristol's efforts to plant up the route of a new cycle path at Ridgeway Playing Fields. 3,000 new hedge trees and 50 large feature trees are now growing along the path, and will brighten people's journeys every day.
The native trees - including oak, hawthorn and field maple - will also provide wonderful habitat for birds, insects and a population of bats living in the area, helping encourage wildlife in the city environment.

Trees for Cities relies on donations from individuals in order to deliver our Bristol projects. Please consider supporting our project work by making a donation or buying a community gift.
