Bristol
Trees for Cities is now entering its fifth year of urban tree planting in Bristol - southwest England's most populous city. As with so many of the UK's historic cities, some areas of Bristol benefit from a rich legacy of Victorian tree planting, while other parts are severely lacking in tree cover and attractive green space.
Since February 2006 Trees for Cities has worked with local people to plant 6,700 trees across the city - breathing new life into urban settings most in need of trees.
