This role is responsible for the development and delivery of Trees for Cities’ first community engagement strategy, creating a framework for how we inspire, involve and mobilise people to plant, protect and promote urban trees, in line with the strategic 3-year plan and annual business plan.

The Engagement & Marketing Director is responsible for leading the engagement with our external stakeholders: the people and communities where we operate, volunteers, and charity supporters. This involves developing and implementing engagement, marketing and communication plans, and generating growth of unrestricted income from individuals.

You will provide strategic and inspirational leadership of the Engagement & Marketing team to foster a culture of mutual support, trust, commitment and professional behaviour.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Engagement & Marketing Director plays a key role in the Senior Leadership Team by providing thoughtful and creative leadership and productive working relationships with other Directors and teams, helping to set the direction for the charity and tackle strategic challenges.
