Schools Development Coordinator (Wales)

Our Schools Development Coordinator will lead the development of our urban schools and community tree planting and greening programmes in Wales.

Reports to: Senior Manager Schools Programme

Working Hours: Full time, fixed term until end of July 2023 (35 hrs/week) (possibility to extend)

Salary: £24,000-£28,000 per Annum

Key Locations: Wales based with focus on Cardiff region

The Role

As Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing urban school and community tree and greening projects and for securing project income, particularly from local authorities, trusts, foundations, lottery and national government.

To be successful in the role you will develop new and manage existing partnerships with schools, local authorities and funders. You will need to meet your personal income target and ensure that the programme is financially viable.

This is a fixed term role for an ambitious and proactive individual. It is an opportunity to build on the success of our Cardiff schools programme as we strive to create healthier playgrounds and greener community spaces.

The position is full time, but we are open to exploring part time options. The successful individual will be based at home with regular travel to Cardiff and occasional travel to other cities in Wales and in the UK.

The role is fixed term until July 2023 with the option to extend if the yearly partnership with Cardiff City council is renewed.
