We are looking for an Urban Forest Coordinator to join our team and deliver tree-planting projects across London & the UK.

As an Urban Forest Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering urban tree-planting projects and ensuring they are delivered efficiently according to good practice and Trees for Cities’ specifications. Projects include the planting, maintenance and management of urban trees and woodlands in parks and open spaces, streets, schools and housing estates.

The role involves supervising volunteers with tree planting activities and maintaining the trees to a high standard to ensure good establishment of our tree stock. Our Urban Forest projects are located across London, with some travel outside of London required occasionally.

This is a highly physical role, requiring the jobholder to be able to work outdoors year-round, 5 days a week. Trees for Cities will provide suitable waterproof clothing, safety boots, gloves and branded clothing.

We seek a highly motivated, confident individual to join our Urban Forest Team. The person we are looking for has proven experience in practical environmental work and in leading volunteers in outdoor activities, is confident in driving vans and has a passion for urban trees and the natural world.
