About us
Join the team
We're on a mission to improve people's lives by planting trees in towns and cities, and it's our people that make it happen. We're a 30-year-strong charity, highly regarded as a trusted urban tree-planting partner with a wide impact and a national stakeholder network.
Where green careers grow
It's not often you get to witness the impact of your work and passion, but at Trees for Cities we're making a tangible difference in urban communities right now. Today, 85% of us in the UK live in a town or city, and urban areas will be hit the hardest by the impact of the environmental crisis. So, with much to be done, it’s an exciting time to work with us as we double down on our efforts.
From transforming concrete playgrounds into beautiful gardens, to engaging communities in planting days, to filling neighbourhoods with trees, working with us offers a unique opportunity to see the direct results of your work, and even plant a few trees yourself!
We're a small-sized charity, so you'll quickly put names to friendly faces. Whether that's by taking part in our community events throughout the year or by joining us for daily table tennis in the park - Trees for Cities is a welcoming organisation where you'll feel connected to both your teammates and work.
