Make Trees Matter!
Our organisational strategy “Make Trees Matter!” (2025 to 2030) sets out an ambitious and hopeful vision to tackle the environmental injustice of tree inequity in urban areas.

Our vision:
Urban Trees for All. Cities and towns where everyone can live healthy lives among thriving trees, woods and nature.
Our mission:
We want to make trees matter for everyone, so they are valued and appreciated, consistently cared for, and appropriately resourced, particularly in areas of low tree equity where they are most needed.
Our North Star:
Our guiding principle is the 3-30-300 rule, developed by the Nature-Based Solutions Institute. By 2050, everybody should be able to see at least 3 trees from their home, live in a neighbourhood with at least 30% tree canopy cover, and have high-quality, public green space within 300 metres of their home.
Our goal:
To grow a nationwide Movement for Urban Trees and Tree Equity, bringing people together to ensure every community, regardless of background or postcode, shares in the life-changing benefits of urban trees.
Join our movement!
We're growing a Movement for Urban Trees and Tree Equity to create healthy, resilient and equitable cities for generations to come.
But we can't do this without you. Whether you give your time, lend your voice, or make a donation to support our cause, everyone can make a difference.
