Trees are a natural solution to these threats. They absorb carbon, purify the air, cool our streets, reduce flood risk and much more.
It costs just £6 to plant a young tree.
Yet, shockingly, three in four urban wards in the UK fall short of the recommended tree cover [Forest Research 2023].

The Green Match Fund explained
The Green Match Fund is a campaign dedicated to tackling environmental issues and is a chance for you to double your donations to Trees for Cities. For one week only, our partners the Big Give will match every donation we receive, meaning that every £1 you give is worth £2 to us at no extra cost to you (while match funds last).
