Join us at our community tree planting workshops at Southlands Open Space (Jubilee Road) on February 14th 2023.

Our planting plans have been drawn up after consultation with local residents and groups and now it's time to plant!

With your help, we'll be planting 9 trees at Southlands Open Space!

Adding trees to a space can enhance it in several ways. Trees provide habitats for wildlife and can also help to mitigate flooding or create a screen against a busy road. Planting larger trees further apart will have more of a visual impact on a space and could be used to create an avenue, an orchard or a space to relax.

All trees have been carefully selected to meet the conditions of Southlands Open Space, taking into account both physical and social factors.

We are hoping to involve local people in planting as much as possible so please let us know if you would like to come and plant a tree with us.
